Assignment: Use touch designer to projection map onto something you build. The projection should shift with a ableton track you create. The whole thing should be combined into some sort of performance.
What I created: My group desided to do a performance piece surrounding the seperation between urban and suburbn culture. I built a cardboard building using hot gle, paint, cardboard and printer paper. The windows of the building were used as projection screens. we built a large sun in which we could project into. Then, we projected nature footage into the windows of the building and urban footage into the center of the sun. The images changed on beat with an ableton track I made. Two members of our group worked together to write a poem surrounding our subject which they performed.
